Card Database
The card database is a comprehensive, searchable catalog of every card in the game. Browse cards, look up detailed information, compare printings across sets, check price history, and verify format legality — all from a single, fast interface powered by Scryfall data. The card database is publicly accessible at /[game]/cards, so you do not need an account to search and view cards.
Advanced Card Search
The search bar at the top of the card database supports real-time autocomplete. Start typing a card name and suggestions appear instantly, showing card names, set symbols, and thumbnail art to help you identify the right card quickly. The search is fuzzy — partial matches, misspellings, and nickname shortcuts are handled gracefully.
For power users, the search supports Scryfall-style query syntax. You can type queries like c:rug t:creature cmc<=3 to find all Temur creatures with mana value 3 or less, or o:"draw a card" r:uncommon to find uncommon cards with "draw a card" in their oracle text. If the query syntax is not recognized, the search falls back to a simple name match, so you never get stuck with zero results.

Filters
Beyond the search bar, the card database offers a comprehensive filter panel that can be combined freely:

Sorting
Sort the search results using the sort dropdown. Available sort options include:
| Sort By | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Alphabetical order, the default for browsing. |
| Price | By current market price, high to low or low to high. Useful for finding the most or least expensive cards in a filtered set. |
| Mana Value | By converted mana cost, useful for curve analysis when browsing cards for a specific slot in your deck. |
| Newest | By release date, showing the most recently printed cards first. Great for staying up to date with new releases. |
Card Grid Display
Search results are displayed in a responsive grid of card images that adapts to your screen size. Card images are lazy-loaded as you scroll, so the page stays fast even when displaying hundreds of results. Each card in the grid shows the card name, set symbol, and a quick-action button to add it to your collection or wishlist. Hover over a card to see a larger preview with price and type information.
Card Details Panel
Click any card in the grid to open the side panel with full card details. The panel provides all the information you need without leaving the search results:
- Full card info — card name, mana cost, type line, oracle text, power/toughness (for creatures), loyalty (for planeswalkers), and flavor text.
- All printings — a list of every set and printing where this card has appeared, each with its own set icon, rarity, and market price. Click any printing to switch the displayed image and pricing to that version.
- Price history sparkline — a small chart showing the card's price trend over the past 30 days, so you can see at a glance whether it is trending up, down, or stable.
- Format legality — a grid showing the card's status (Legal, Banned, Restricted, Not Legal) in every sanctioned format.

Individual Card Detail Page
Each card also has a dedicated, full-page detail page accessible via a permanent URL. This page is designed for deep research and is SEO-optimized so it can be found via search engines. The card page includes:
- Full-size card image — a high-resolution rendering of the card art and frame, with support for double-faced and split cards.
- Complete stats — every piece of card data including mana cost, type line, oracle text, power/toughness, loyalty, color identity, keywords, and rulings.
- All printings — an expanded table of every printing across all sets, with set name, rarity, collector number, and individual pricing for each version.
- Price information — current market price for both regular and foil versions, with price history charts for paid plan users (see Analytics).
- Rules and flavor text — the official oracle text and any flavor text for the displayed printing.
- Artist credit — the artist who illustrated the card, with a link to browse other cards by the same artist.

Printing Stats Across Sets
On the card detail page, the printings section includes aggregate statistics that show how many times and in which sets a card has been printed. For popular staples that have been reprinted many times, this gives you a quick overview of availability and helps you choose the cheapest printing or the specific art you prefer. Each printing entry shows the set name, set icon, collector number, rarity for that printing, and the current market price, making it easy to compare across versions.
